Recognized by Forbes Magazine as an “Interior Design Guru,” Sophie Azouaou is the Founder and President of SophiSticate Interiors, a San Francisco Bay Area luxury interiors firm specializing in commercial and residential projects.
Known as “THE designer who gives back,” she serves on the Board of Directors of the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation (REAF). She has supported Raphael House, Edgewood Center for Children and Families, Earth Day San Francisco, and other charitable organizations. Her humanitarian efforts have earned commendations from former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr. and the late Mayor Edwin Lee. In 2017, she received the REAF Community Service Award for her contributions to the foundation.
That commitment continued in 2026, when Sophie was honored by Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis on behalf of Governor Gavin Newsom, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, and California State Treasurer Fiona Ma. She also received the REAF San Francisco Community Award for decades of philanthropic dedication and impact.
